Congratulations to the Recipient of the SRCC Memorial Bursary

Keegan Cockburn received his bursary in June 2025 as an OSSD graduate from Almaguin Highlands Secondary School. Keegan plans to attend Cambrian College in the fall and is enrolled in the Heavy Equipment Technician Program. Jeff Griffith, Club President, presented Keegan with a cheque for $500 to put towards his post secondary studies.

The South River Curling Club wishes to thank the ONTARIO TRILLIUM FOUNDATION for recognizing our club and our financial needs during Covid. In September 2021, the Ontario Trillium Foundation granted us $28,500.00 which assisted in providing funds that ensured our club could operate worry-free during these unusual times. This fund enabled our club to pay all operating expenses for the last year and to purchase various items that assisted in maintaining all Covid protocols for our membership. The SRCC is extremely thankful for this operating stream grant.
